How tall should a Palm tree be for a traditional scale model? Would a 14" work with this depending on how close I put it to the model for photos? Thanks for the help :cheer

It depends on the age of the tree! :grin 14" would be a good size for a photo though :)

DUH! :haha :embarras:I kinda got to thinking that but i wasn't sure! I'm such a geek! Thanks for the reply though! I think your diormas a really nice and i can't find anywhere to get one, so I'm going to do trial and error and try :crossedf: to make my own. What should i use for the water? Thanks for the help! :cheer :yourock

My pleasure Shea and thanks for the compliment! :hugg Check out Woodland Scenics products for water (its the safest, easiet, most economical way of producing water.) You may wish to look into clear casting resin too.

Kathy Casey of Desert Rose Backdrops sells some super back ground images. These look super and give the photo alot of depth, all you need is a bit of sand, grass matt or shortly cropped real grass for your base. Its a simpler/more interchangeable alternative to a diorama :)
