gapoxio vs. aves apoxie clay

I am torn between what the "pros" use and what might be a little more gentle on my hands. I am almost out of DAS and am tired of the resulting "papery-hairy" look that it gives and have broken down to buy on the net. But I don't want to get something I am not going to like the results of. I like the "carvablity" of DAS and that I can work it with my bare hands, and that it doesn't smell too awfull. I am sure this had been gone over, and over....and over again, but I would like any opinions before I purchase.
Also I need a tough clay as my next project is going to require some MAJOR sculpting!
