Rick's Saddle Shop has tenatively set a day of May 11th for their 6th annual Breyer Only Model Horse Show.

This show is always a good time with a nice relaxed atmosphere with Color Classes for the 10 and under crowd and a more expansive classlist for the "Older" kids/Adults. A Breyer Rep is always on hand giving us insight in the new stuff coming out and Breyer usually donates a lovely model to be raffled off for exhibitors only.

More info to come in the next few weeks....keep checking the Ricks Saddle Shop website or their Facebook page too.

I'll post any new developments when/if the grapevine produces it!

Awesome! This would be great for my cousin's first show (she's from northern NJ) if she's available on that day. I was hoping to find a novice one that works with her schedule, a non-NAN qualifier would work as well :)

Ricks website is Saddlesource.com

Nothing about the show has been posted on it yet though under the Events Header.

The Novice classes are for kids Age 10 and under and generally have been broken down by colors there's also some fun classes like the Scene/Diorama class ( which was awesome last year !!! The Costume Classes were also pretty original too.

Hello All!
I believe this will be the classlist for the Rick's show on May 11th. I may either be team judging with Kristen Breen (Albert)or even possibly be judging the WHOLE Shebang!. Make sure you call Rick's Saddle Shop, Cream Ridge NJ location (609) 758-7267 to sign up. I was in about 2 weeks ago and they already had 13 entrants and SPACE IS LIMITED! I think the class limits are 3 horse/class/exhibitor.

Are the tags the same as last years with the horse's name on the same side as the breed and gender?

As with 99% of shows.... Side #1 = Breed & gender; Side 2 = Horse's Name & Owners Name but I'm really easy about such things.....just make sure that the side with Breed & Gender are facing up while the horse is in the ring. :o)

PS...I called this afternoon....they have 23 registered entrants so far! I think the cutoff date is May 1

I put my name on the list a couple of weeks ago when I stopped in. But have not heard anything since then. Will there be a registration before the show date?
