Hi y'all!

I just wanted to let you know that Brightly Hude Studio has just finished a new sculpture, "Adagio;" he is a mini-scale Historical Lippizaner in Levade. A second version is in the works and is nearly done! I am planning on doing a combination of Ceramic & Resin for them, and I am trying to figure out production. I have a poll up on FB (http://tinyurl.com/BHAdagioPoll) & my Yahoo Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/brightlyhude/info) (I'll post the pictures, question & answers here, so you can comment below, if you like). If you care to give me your opinion (which I would very much appreciate), please only answer once in one venue! Thanks!

No commitment to buy anything, but ideally are you more interested in:

A) Adagio only in Ceramic
B) Adagio only in Resin
C) Version II only in Ceramic
D) Version II only in Resin
E) Both in Ceramic
F) Both in Resin
G) Both in Ceramic and Resin
H) Ceramic and Resin Adagio
I) Ceramic and Resin Version II
J) Some other combo (tell me!)

"Ceramic" refers to CMG's or the planned OF run. Prices for everything will be matched to the market as best as possible. My email is sales (at) brightlyhude (dot) com, if you need. Thanks so much!

Love the Adagio one, just wished the bow over more so it would be tack friendly! =)

PS feel free to share in on the mini yahoo group: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/stablemate-models2/info

Thanks, Becky! Altering the bow on Adagio in resin wouldn't be too hard, I imagine. That would be some tiny tack! :) Thanks for the suggestion- perhaps I will share him there.

Cheers,

Adalee

depending on price, Im interested in both of these, probably in resin but maybe ceramic depending on color offerings. Dapple grey, black and white pinto, leopard app etc are colors I like

Version 1 resin definitely. I see myself customizing one with a pulled mane ^^
How big are they?

I'd take either one in resin or china, tbh. Beautiful model!

Ha- thanks, Jessica! And thanks to you all for responding (great color ideas, Shego!), and for your kind words. Ooh, a pulled mane! That would be neat. He is a mini, so he's about 3" tall. I'm sorry I did not make that clear earlier!

For anyone who missed out, here's the first one that I glazed. I'm currently working on master mold production/ Version II finishing & molding so it will be a little while before there are more glazed pieces, but at least there's one out there!

Oh he is stunning! Resin or ceramic for the first version with the bow in his hair :) I think the second version for me personally would be good as a resin.

I REALLY love the first version, I had promised myself no more resins, but I really want anything to do with those historical be-bowed Lippizaners!

I don't normally do resin or ceramic, but I would kill for Adagio in either, but especially ceramic!

To bad he is not traditional size as I don't collect minis because both versions are just awesome!

Aw, thanks everyone, for all of your kind words! And thanks so much to everyone who responded to the poll! I’m happy to say it seems there is enough interest to do both versions in resin, and in ceramic, of course- that is a given, as all horses start with ceramic molds, with me! Now to burrow into my studio, finish the master & production molds, and send prepped castings to my resin caster. :)

I generally have a no-mini's rule, but I'm liking Adagio, a resin to paint myself and maybe a ceramic — I'd be looking for a grey but the appy looks great.
