As part of the Breyer Sponsor show model, You get more incentives if you hold a children's show as part of your live show.

I have advertised on line and locally for the children show that is part of my show, North Star Live, and have only gotten one tentative entry.

So if you are in or near Minnesota and know any child 12 years or younger who wants to show, please check out North Star Live!

Per my children's recommendation, the awards for the children show are neck ribbons, seen here:

And all paid entrants are in the free Raffle for the Breyer Show program model, Razzmatazz:

Good luck! I had difficulty getting kids entrants for both of my shows, I felt like the age limit of 12 was tricky. (I did suggest to Breyer to raise that to 14.)

Hope you won't mind some suggestions:

Do you have any Breyer dealers near the show hall or even real equine stores? You can try putting up flyers there.

You can try putting your show on the Breyer calendar too, that brought in several people for me: https://www.breyerhorses.com/event_request_form

See if any of the local newspapers offer free ads or if they'll write a short story about the hobby. Send emails to local horse ranches to see if they have any young riders with Breyers and might want to try showing.

Hope you can get more kids!

I knew they needed kids entrants for the Toronto Live youth show so I ended up getting my two little humans to enter. They're pretty young but we had a good time prior picking out which of their horses to put in which class and such, and they have lots of play horses and a few that are decorations in their rooms so it worked out great. They had a great time and it was good to teach about winning and losing and competition. They placed every entry themselves on the table. I was very proud of them. I hope you get some because it's a great experience. We had a blast.

Here they are with their entires for costume - both have a "decoration" horse in their room that they picked.

I really wanted to bring my husband's niece... bummed it didn't work out. She'd have had a wonderful time.

Thanks Wendy. It was a lot of fun actually. And a very good experience for them both as they've never done anything like that. I would totally recommend it to anyone with a little person who likes any kind of model horses. Life's all about trying new things. It made ME want to really show myself at the next show in Toronto in the fall.
