Hello fabulous Blabbers!!! So I have purchased a model from a small tack shop that has a Breyer COA-and says 1/1 painted by A. Merry. I don't have it in hand yet, and hopefully it will arrive in the next few days-but I'm wondering, is anyone familiar with this artist?

A. Merry Buggs, maybe. She was painting back in the 90s, but not for Breyer. Are you sure itʻs an official Breyer COA?

Hmmmm....the model came out in 2002. Thanks! Google gave me nothing. Yes the COA looks just like my others-but I don't have it yet just a picture so I need it in hand to really check it out..

A. Merrie Aurelius maybe? She was featured in JAH in 2003 or 2004 I think? With her family. She does airbrush models I believe. Maybe she donated an item to the silent auction one year? That would explain the COA perhaps.

Yes, I just came up with that name as well - AMerrie Aurelius - married to a guy named tony - but think they are now divorced - Met them both at BF one year - They were very involved w/ models at the time.

Yes, theyʻve been divorced for some time. I couldnʻt remember her maiden name, Aurelius.

I think I was off in my memory - she probably was around in the early 2000ʻs.

She and Tony were at the Stone Horse Country Fair in 2006.

Oh wow, thanks so much, yes that must be her, sorry I spelled her name wrong! The horse has arrived! I put her/him in the Spanish Riding School setup just to see how he/she would look.

The Breyer COA and the COA from A. Merrie are two different things-so the Magnolia COA is also with the model, then a separate one from the artist. The tack shop didn't explain this but I will try to get in touch with A. Merrie to find out the history of this pretty horse!
