View Full Version : Blab T-Shirt poll - almost there

We've been discussing the 2016 design for Blab t-shirts in this thread (linked) (http://www.modelhorseblab.com/forums/showthread.php?171900-Question-Blab-t-shirts!-2016-version) (there's a poll there as well) ...

And now we are down to it ... we hope to begin taking orders by in the next few days!!

The design will be
- the new version of Qwerty,
- front of shirt only,
- option to put your name & username on either the lower left of the design, or on the sleeve.

We will have a range of sizes in v-neck fitted, tank and regular t-shirt styles.

The shirt is a white design on a colored shirt, and we'll have a range of color selections.
Link to examples of colors from a past Blab t-shirt, scroll down for less-bright colors (http://www.modelhorseblab.com/forums/zimages/tshirt/OrderFormColors2012.htm)- just an idea, 2016 may not be exactly the same.

Poll Question:
Which Blab name arrangement do you like best?

Caveat: the smaller type has to have non-serif'ed letters to print well on the shirt. :)

Please comment on your preferences!

1) Vertical stack

2) Horizontal

3) Tall "b" (FourWindsFarm's suggestion :) )
The "tall b" will be rendered more neatly by the professional print screen guy :thumbsup

4) Just Blab

I like the one that is horizontal since it more resembles the actual logo than the others. My 2nd choice would be the Tall B one.

Same - horizontal as first choice, tall 'b' second.

Can I just say I love that logo? :D
So squiggly...

Ditto to to the above.

They all look fine to me. Just realized, though, duh - I can't put my name on my sleeve because I want a tank. :guffaw

I would love to have one of these shirts, that horse logo is just the cutest! I agree with most everyone else that I like the horizontal arrangement the best. Hopefully no one's offended that I moved it around a little bit - I think it would look even nicer as a tighter block of text so it makes the words itself kind of a logo for the site. But that's just the graphic designer in me- I do it for a living and definitely am one at heart, but it's just a suggestion! :grin

I like this, too. What font did you use? It looks very good.

Same font used as the ones up at the top- just moved the words in line with each other :)

Wonder if we can have a side by side comparison? i just cannot see the difference. :hide:uh

I voted for tall "b". I'm not a huge fan of the normal font, it's very symmetrical and a bit simple (for my tastes). The tall "b" adds a bit of variation. :yes

Edit: I also want to say that Qwerty is looking lovely! Love him in "cursive". :haha

I think most of us agree. Our challenge is that the screen printing doesn't render the smaller text serif's very well.

Will pass thanks along to our 2016 designer, Maria Hjerppe of Dune Design! She's a wonderful hobbyist as well as a wonderful designer. :toothy

I really like the tighter version of the logo, want to know what it would look like with a line in between the model horse and blab. kind of like:

model horse
__________
Blab
