Ouch! Sorry about your surgery! I hope you recover quickly.
Armada looks beautiful. I'm a big fan of flowing manes and tails like that. Will his hooves be pegged for balance or will he have a base? (I'm not looking to buy since I'm an OF plastic collector, but I figure others would probably have the same questions. :) )

Thank you!! Me too x) I'm trying to think ahead though...I like models that having versatility for showing. So he's doing a flying lead change/dressage movement. Ear is flicked back paying attention to the rider, body is very collected. Makes the pose a bit stiffer..but i think he could be used for a variety of setups. Bull fighting scene? Could be doing cavalettis, gymkhana? Who knows!

I'm going to make sure his bridlepath is clean, and his forelock stays off his face. I see alot of gorgeous action models where the forelock is smothering the face...makes for a beautiful model but then when you put tack on top you're sorta...limited? Like it takes away some believability. So i'm wrestling with the idea of drama vs versatility.

As for base, he will have a peg in his hoof that connects to the base that you will have to either glue on or make something else. So that's up to the purchaser =D

I'm all ears for suggestions!

And that base is temporary, I'm surfing around trying to get some inspiration to see what would be the best option. It just helps to have a thing to visually ground him for now.

What scale is he?

First print will be a run of 50-75 in stablemate, and i'm going to use the profits i get from that to be able to afford the upfront cost of getting him made in traditional scale, which is my ultimate goal because he has so many little details that won't read in the stablemate format so well.

My schedule is June - orders. July-August shipment. Then i'll release the traditional scale as soon as i can get enough funds to do so =D

I'm also making a special stablemates with a traditional spanish braided mane and tail for Resins by Randy to produce.
