It had been almost a year since I made a Western saddle, but I think this one turned out pretty nice! It's for Melissa (AdivaArabians). |She wanted something fairly simple with a bit of silver and short enough to fit the PS Arabian.

Yay! I can't wait to see it in person! Jennifer it looks like you've outdone yourself again! It's amazingly beautiful, I am just thrilled! I was also going to take the time out to email you quickly again here but I need to head back to the college--just wanted to tell you that soon after I emailed you earlier I got the mail and the rugs are here! I really like the looks of the one I want to use for your costume. I plan on starting work on it right away, and I should have some progress to share with you very soon! Thanks again girl, you rock! :hugg

Aw thanks everyone! I really need a pick me up after the day I've had. I am pleased with this saddle because it is simple in style but not detailing. I don't think you can tell but the stirrups are adjustable and they're on rings so they can swing back and forth and are not stuck in one place. The silver is all from Sulser Saddlery. I really like their hardware. The cinch is lined with skiver. I tried to make sure that nothing was too plain! I do think it's a bit short from front to back but that's what you've got to do to fit that short backed Stone Arabian!

My next project is an English saddle for the Stone pony--another shortie!

Nice saddle Jen!! By far, you can't tell it had been that long of a time since you had made one!
