I know, it's early, but I'm "manning" my father's booth at a local Holiday bazaar this weekend, so I'm in the Holiday spirit already!

SO...what's on everyone's wish list this year (both model and not of course!)?

Here's mine:

1. I'm hunting for a few SM G2 wermbloods to complete my conga line
2. I'd still love to get my Khemo and Koko back, painted or not
3. a huntseat and western set for my Sovran
4. Dancing Egyptian set for Raakid
5. Dressage set for my Deseoso

And of course, non-model :)
1. Gift cards to my fave stores: Aveda, Norstrom, V.S. and The Limited...ok and Target too--too many fun decor stuff there!
2. My mother is making curtains for all of our rooms--just picked out all of the designs yesterday!
3. Dining table (yes, broken record--I was promised one last month and my dining room is still empty)

Hmmm...I don't really know. I haven't put much on my wish list, since my husband and I have sunk all of our money into starting up my wedding photography business this year. So, we don't have much for Christmas presents. We've decided to get each other three gifts each, and then stocking stuffers. The gifts will probably all be books, too. ;) :lol But that's fine with me! I love books!

The only thing on my list so far is the new Breyer Cleveland Bay. I know Jeff and I will be spending more money on the boys than each other, so that's all I'm hoping for! ^_^
My gift to myself will be a Sham CMed by PBM to a red and purple color. ^_^

I really want to buy him a bass guitar this year, but I don't know if I'll be able to afford even a cheap one.

I never put any hobby-related items on my Christmas List. I get some nice checks from my family so those usually go towards a few splurges. ;)
This year I'm asking for some DVDs, a coffee table book, and a mini bread machine. It's so cute. I love bread machines, but there is no way that Eugene and I could make it through a full sized loaf before it starts getting stale. :haha

Between now and November 20th it's money crunch time for me. Not only do I have Christmas gifts to buy, but four birthday gifts and, an anniversary gift for Eugene. This year everyone gets homeade fudge (I wish!).

Mine's pretty simple:

to sell the few models I have listed, plus maybe one or two more so as to put the funds towards the much needed new vehicle and to have a little money statshed for the upcoming career change.

Well, since it's a wish list...somebody put an Orinocco on my door step, please. No? Oh well, one can wish. :)

I don't get horse-shaped objects for gifts usually. Otherwise, winning the lottery..just enough to cover my student loans and to help my Mom out would be nice. :) :)

Realistically..don't know? Gift cards to Best Buy and Barnes and Noble, a calendar or two and I'll be fine...maybe some chocolate. :)

This is going to sound weird, but we don't exchange gifts for Christmas. Neither one of us is religious, and if we really need something we get it for ourselves anyway. We don't live near any relatives anymore, either, so don't have to think about that.

We just get something for each other on our birthdays and that's it.

Model wise..well, I'm still hoping to see if someone will have the 2 Stone Arabs I've been searching for.

Non-equine wish: Going to be granted this Friday! I'm adopting the cutest, most delightful tortie tabby kitty this side of the rockies! She's about 12 weeks old and was rescued from being entangled in a cactus plant. I'm busy "kitten proofing" everything in sight...and keeping my fingers crossed that the rest of my feline herd (4 boys and 8 girls) will welcome the little newcomer...in time. I can't wait!

Model-wise I'd like to get a Barbaro and/or swish tail bay Lady Phase.

Non-model wise I need some real horse stuff. New stirrup leathers and a new girth. New halter for Sand Castle, Lix-it stall toy for Izzy...Of course I'd love a new saddle, but I think I'm going to have to save up my own money for that. :D

Family's Jewish and boyfriend and I are darn near broke, so no wishlist for me :) In past years John and I have exchanged gifts just as an excuse to spoil each other a little, but for the most part I haven't done any December gift-giving OR receiving in years and years, and I like it that way. While so many I know are scrounging for cash and feeling tremendous "holiday season" pressure, I can kick back and not worry about it, and I'll be the one to work overtime this year so in the end, I'll come out with lots more cash in my pocket! Plus no frantic going 350 miles away to go home for the holidays, no planning, and I usually eat Chinese food or something similar on Christmas Eve ;)

Would be nice to have an excuse to get hobby-related gifts, sure, but I'm not even feeling an especially powerful want for anything right now. Of course, this will all change when Lesli Kathman's lottery comes out, and my wishlist would inclue whatever piece I liked from that bunch that I could be drawn for :lol As for non-hobby related stuff, gift certificates to all my favorite restaurants, because I'm *dying* being unable to afford meals out right now :sad, gift cards to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's (because I always spend too much money there when I should just be shopping at Shaw's ;)), and upgrades of my digital camera (higher-res) and iPod (to a video one; I just have a regular music iPod). But the only thing I'm really dying for is the restaurant stuff - I don't really want for a whole lot right now!

Hobby:

~less animosity towrads the horsies from the hubby ... I think he's a little jealous still :haha
~A few supplies, I have some really cool ideas I've been saving for a long time.

Non Hobby:
~New work clothes (I'm now an office person so my jeans and kakhi's don't really cut it)

~Nice family christmas - this is the first year my husband and I will spend with my family instead of his in 7 years. My family DOES christmas: big 12'+ tree, decorations, the traditional movies (a christmas story, simpsons christmas, and christmas vacation), boardgames, a fire in the fireplace, big dinner with all the trimmings, dressing up...... His mom wore tattered spandex shorts and an old sweatshirt to christmas dinner last year and their daughters boyfriend (who knocked her up the next month at 16yo) got more presents than me and my husband combined :wtf . Not my style for the holidays....

My hobby wish list will most likely be bought by me if I have any Christmas money since my folks don't know where to start with me and models!

I'm currently looking for:
~more resins sculpted AND painted by Carol Williams.
~the old Breyer mustang foal by Maureen love. I'm looking for an unbroken body quality one to customize.
~looking for all the sm foals in body condition to repaint, especially the one sculpted by Sarah Rose
~Peter Stone QH Chips in body condition to repaint
~new traditional showmanship halter with silver for live showing.
~traditional scale Herden running cow

Non Hobby

Invasion Season 1 on DVD
LOST S1 and S2 on DVD
She-ra Princess of Power Season 1 V1 DVD
Bath and Body works goodies. Mainly any of the Blackraspberry Vanilla, Sunripened Raspberry or Vanilla Bean Noel goodies.

I didn't ask for much else non hobby wise because I buy all my own stuff. I certainly don't need any more clothes!

Mine is NON-model... all I really want is a quick diagnosis for our suddenly leaking pool next spring when we open and hopefully not too expensive a repair.

We've had the worst luck... have put around 5K this past year for new pool equipment and fixing two previous bad leaks, got four months of leak free beautiful running... and now it's leaking again after a bad freeze. We have no idea where... but if it's the previous repair, we are screwed, as the guy who did it sold up his business and suddenly left town.

My other wish, is that until we can get the pool closed down for the winter, that the water does NOT seep into the basement. One flood this summer was enough.

Of course my last holiday wish is good health for me, hubby and the three kitties!

It's weird, other than the above, I can't think of anything like a physical object I need that bad.

Mmmm.... if I get anything hobby-related for Christmas, I'll be buying it myself.

Other than vaguely wishing for a digital camera, there's nothing I really need/want (well, other than maybe a year's service from Molly Maid. LOL!)

My family has went from the insane "buy everyone something" to drawing names, to last year - dirty santa. I really don't like doing that as I have most of the males in the family - 2 teenage males and a hubby - so if gifts are gender specific, odds are, we bring something back, ergo, why take it in the first place?

My in-laws generally don't do that (although it was done at a gathering at extended in-laws one year - and that one was actually fun). I haven't heard anything about what's going on this Christmas.

Well, since it's a WISH list, Minuets! Many of them at affordable plastic prices. Heck, I want Kathleen to sell Breyer the rights to the sculpture so I can have her in many, many affordable colors.

Since that's not likely, I want a PS2. With both versions of Kingdom Hearts and every FF game ever produced.

And since that's not likely either, I'll settle for a digital camera. My parents, my TECHNOPHOBIC parents each got one before me. :sigh

Hobby related wish would be for that resin I missed out on on MH$P to come up for sale again.

Also hobby related, I'd like time in a bottle so I can paint and sew more. >sigh<

Santa, Baby, Bring me a:

Painted Dinky Duke or Flitwick!
Custom G3 jumper!
Cleveland Bay
JCP SMs Jumper, Pony, Warmblood, & Thoroughbred only.

I'll probably get the SMs for myself if I don't get them, but I'll have to wait a while for the Dinky & Flitwick--$ is tight this year.

Luckily my family is drawing names for gift exchange to keep expenses down. That's good, but my favorite part is buying gifts, not getting them, so I'll miss that this year.

I doubt I will get models, but sometimes I will get lucky with cash. Most of my family look at my collection, and then say, "I don't know which ones you have and which ones you don't!"

Anyways, the models on the top of my list (affordable)
2005 JC Penney Saddlebred family
2006 JCP Arabian family
2006 Morgan set
2006 new SM set
Warrior-Mid States SR
Dollor-should be getting him in the next day or so...he wasn't in yet yesterday
Silver TH for 2007-will definitely be saving some money aside for those guys
ASB's and Silvers...my faves!

We have 3 boys to buy for though...so I'm not too optimistic. A girl can dream though :)

The #1 thing I want is the Breyer glossy honey bay LP. :1drool She is by far my most wanted model EVER! She's the only thing I have on my Christmas list. My parents said I could enter the raffle. I'm so excited! I REALLY hope I win! I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! :crossedf:
