This halter has REAL, hand-made silver nose Plate, keepers, crownpiece tips and decorations on the throatlatch. It also has a real gold diamond motif on the keepers, the crownpiece, the buckles and the throatlatch. The silver nose plate was hand engraved by me in a western style. Then the nose plate and silver pieces have been coated to not tarnish. I have proven this method so far on a saddle that I made in 2001. The silver on that saddle has still not tarnished. The silver plates will not need to be cleaned either. (in fact, I recommend that they not be).

It also features Real Silver Stardust beads, and a real gold bead in the middle.

The jump rings on this halter have been soldered closed. It is also "five way" adjustable just like the halers in the real show ring.

The leather crownpiece has been Tooled with the Rio Rondo Basketweave tool.

There is a working lead included that has matching beads on it so that it will match perfectly. The lead chain Does GO through the halter just like the real thing.

This halter fits the newer versions of the Peter Stone Ideal Stock Horse. The ISH has been reworked several times and the newer horses have heads that are larger than the older models. I only guarantee that it fits a newer ISH but it is an adjustable halter so you may find it fits others.

My tack has top tenned and WON at the North American Model Horse Nationals Many times over! I have also been invited to sell my work via the Kentucky Museum of Art and Design as well as The Museum of Western Heritage Gift Shop at the Autry Center in Los Angeles, CA.

I do not take orders for model horse tack due to health problems and time constraints. This is one of the very few ways of getting some of my work. This is not just a Model Horse Halter, it is a Museum Quality Miniature.
