I always hoped I might get K Grieve to do my resins, but she has taken a step back from the hobby.

I don't know many british artists for custom work. Can anyone direct me to currently active ones? Really good ones if possible!!

Or can any that are here and expect to be accepting custom work during the current year give me a heads up?!

Thanks! :)

Not that I'm 'really good' but I may be taking a few custom orders for littlebit/SM sized pieces during 2005. Maybe bigger scales depending on how I get on with my own resins first. My website's not much good - no time to update! My new avatar is one of mine though.

Hi Margaret! :hello

There were some hard-to-spot mistakes in your URL:

htpp://www.geocities.com/prhallam/index/html

It should begin with http: but you put htpp: (I make this mistake constantly!)
It ends /html but it should end .html

You'll end up with:

Oh My Yes!!!! Big C is very much the pampered, spoiled boy at my house, he is Ruler of the Roost! Grand and Center!! He easily qualified, so I am planning on taking him to NAN this coming year. We will see if we can bring home an American Title to match his European Titles! :adore

Thanks again for letting bring him home Margaret!!! :hugg

I haven't heard too much from her lately, I know she had 2 of her boys down with various problems, one had problems with his hips, and her new puppy has allergies something awful! She sure does well with her boys though! She is into so many different aspects of dog showing! I had no idea that it was so varied! :wha

I will drop her a note and let her know that her boy across the pond needs a new coat! LOL!!! I am still hoping to drag her back to the "dark side", and get her back into model showing, she has always been my Showing Buddy/Travel Mate, and I miss her! :sad

How are your big puppies doing? Any new pics of them??? I would love to see them! :adore

I had always admired Karen Greive's work also (had seen quite a few of her models in photos shows that I had held), but when I had her do a custom order for me I was greatly disappointed :( The coloring of the horse was pretty, but the model had alot of rough areas and lumps in the paint, as well as black "spatter dots" throughout the paint coat that should not have been there (it was a strawberry roan). I didn't send it back, but if I had it to do over I would. I don't know if she doesn't live show, and that's why she doesn't realize that this is not LSQ, since her models do so well in photos shows. Has anyone else noticed this with any of her work? Maybe she just did a sloppy job with mine since possibly she was in a hurry? It was such a terrible disappointment because beforehand I had considered her one of the best artists I'd seen (judging from what I had seen in photos).

I had some gorgeous dapple greys by Karon in the mid 90's. It's going by memory but I'm sure they weren't rough.
