Kelso question?

Was the Hobby Center Toys 1987 SR Kelso (page 237 of the Breyer Guide) a model of "Whirlaway", as it says there, or "Citation" as Pony Lagoon says?

I don't have that particular guide, but if it's the orangey looking Kelso w/ darker mane & tail & no black on the legs, yes, it's supposed to be Citation.

Yes, the Kelso was meant to be Citation, and while they got his hind socks sort of right, they really botched the color. Citation was a stunning blood red bay, not a washed out light bay. The set did include a Whirlaway model---the Silky Sullivan. :)

Yep, it's the orangey-bay Kelso.
I was thinking it was Citation instead of Whirlaway, just wanted to be sure.
