Dapple Grey PAMs... [Archive]

Ok... I saw this one on eBay

I've had 3 different dapple grey PAMs and they've all had this weird neck paint line/crack thing too. The shape is almost identical. The one I have now has the least noticeable one... but what is the deal? Anyone know? Are all the early 70s versions like this?

I've got two with identically shaped cracks. Perhaps there was a crack in the mold at one point.

My alabaster PAM from the 1970's has the same crack!

Crazy! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with the weird crack :) I was starting to think I was just unlucky in my PAM buying :lol

Hmmm.. now I am going to have to have a look-see at my old PAMs to see if they are the same....
