finishing a cm?

I think you should finish him! (and never be afraid to redo an old project...I'm redoing a Chaney Friesian that i painted in '99!) He looks like he's on the way to a very cool chestnut or palomino sabino...I say go with it.

Very nice - just looks like the tail and eyes need painting and then whol lot varnishing.
