Its funny, and i am sure that reading this forum sparked this...

Last night I dreamed that I found an old CM named hansolo at a flea market and I brought him home.

I have only seen hansolo in a single balck and white photo in some issue of JAH, so I forget if he is a Nancy Strowger or an old Julie Froelich--i beleive he is a bay Arab, with high whites--very Khemosabe-esque.

Does anyone know if hansolo is still around? Or did he die? I know the other favorite Arab CM I had, Opium, has left us.

That b/w photo was in the 1986 JAH where I saw Obi-Wan and forgot I had seen him! Yep, Nancy did Hansolo - bay with high whites indeed. The article says she did him in 1978 and he was her first attempt at sculpting from scratch - he was about the size of a Breyer AS/Trad Sham. He is listed as "G. HANSOLO - Owner A. Ross." This was back in 1986 so I have no idea if he is still around or not or who owns him if he is still around... he sure was pretty.

Good recall in your dream Jackie! And I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who has model horse dreams... about customs no less! :D

I just have dreams of someday having a "horse room" big enough to fit all the models in at the same time without ever having to sell any to make more space! LOL
