Last year, Melanie Miller of Chinook Studios (http://www.chinookstudios.com) graciously provided to Blab one of her new resins as a prize for Blab members in a drawing to celebrate Blab's birthday. We had an incredibly enthusiastic response to this drawing ("Gimme Jasmine!!"), so we'd like to do it again. We want to invite our Blab member-artists to contribute.

I think it would be ideal if we could again get a new sculpt in the mix, so we can cross-promote the item, but it would be promotion for your business regardless. In addition to our announcements, which would splash the name of your business and the item around liberally, we would happily furnish a year's worth of banner advertising on Blab. As you guys may be aware, we have over 1,000 active members, and we're always pursuing new registrations to increase use of the site. We're also happy to discuss ideas about how to structure these drawings; let us know what you think. I'm thinking that if we get multiple pieces, we devote them to multiple contests.

Our first choice is to deal directly with the artists who are members of Blab, because it benefits us on a lot of levels, some tangible and some intangible. Please PM (http://www.modelhorseblab.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=385) or email (eliz@modelhorseblab.com) me if you are interested in collaborating with us to celebrate Blab's sixth year of blabbing. I'll update this announcement with a closure date. Thanks guys!

I should also mention that if folks are hung up on the idea of designing their own banner, I'm happy to help there. As will be a number of people, I suspect. :)

I'd like to thank sculptress supremes, Tabatha Pack and Michelle Platt, for both donating items to Blab's Birthday Celebration. We'll do "reveals" on the items when we get the contests for them squared away. THANK YOU CHIQUITAS!!!!
