The only other San Domingo mold I have is Black Gold (newer one) that I got in a trade. I really want the original pinto San Domingo. I had one in my childhood collection, but I sold him. :(

I have not as I do not have a TSC and he's just too pricey for me right now. I'll get him in a trade or wait about 5 months until 2010 is here and new "pretties" for everyone to swoon over come out and he's a bit cheaper.

Agreed! :grin This is the first I have of this mold, as I wasn't real big on him-I like him, but don't love him enough to make room on the shelves :lol But I'd like to have at least one of each mold, and I'm glad I have Banner!

Question: I see Banner on eBay all the time for $60 and up.

If I find him at a TSC, is he that expensive or are the eBay prices expensive because he's hard to find?

IIRC he's at least $60 at TSC, if not $65. I got mine at cost + shipping from an awesome picker-upper!

I paid 55.00 plus tax at TSC for Banner. If there hadn't been any available in my area I would not have had a problem paying a little more for one through Ebay. But I do think some of the ebay price tags are too high, for me anyway.

I went to TSC to look and they didn't have any, i was told by a friend who works there that the same person bought them all and wanted more :/ Good thing i don't collect the mold, but i feel bad for collectors who actually wanted him. Some people...:yuk

Thanks, I wasn't sure what his normal price was! I was hoping he'd drop down to $11 like Duke did, lol!! :lol I don't think that'll happen with Banner, and he's not available on TSC's website like Duke was. RATS!

OO! This is the first I have heard about this! What else is known about it please?? I got my Banner just the other day, a lovely friend in the USA kindly drove to the TSC to get me one a few weeks ago, at cost too! I am thrilled to bits with him! he is my first San Domingo and his colour and shading are so pretty! Here he is:

Steele is another John Wayne horse. He should be next if they keep making the series. But with Breyer you never know. He is black but sorry no glossy!
He has to be a big mold or could be a newer mold. When i was waiting in line at HIN for the Artisans' Gallery to open, I asked do you have Banner or Steele and all i got was a little laugh. So we will have to wait untill BF 2010.
