I only made it maybe 5 steps into the shop selling Breyers.. and then I saw him.

His tag read Factory Unpainted Gem Twist. I grabbed him and turned to the cash register. I never did see what else was in the shop. I only had eyes for him. I don't know if he actually is a factory unpainted model or whatever. but he sure looks cool in my Gem Twist conga :) which is currently only missing Authentic, whom I will be buying within the next month! I didn't pay too much for him, I think that's the only reason I don't actually care if he's really a factory goof. Anyways.. more pictures

Cool! I have that guy too. I picked him up at the Breyer store this year for $15.
Great conga! I love that mold.

I saw him yesterday! He is factory unpainted, they were selling them at BF this past year! I got one for myself there, if not I would have bought him too ;)

Congrats! Isn't he awesome?! I bought one for $15 a breyerfest. I'm still torn as to whether or not I want to paint him. I bought the TWH one too.

thanks guys :)
I'm definately not going to paint him, I like him just the way he is. I like that the shelves are even right now, 6 on each. when I ge Authentic I'm going to have to get another grey model, probably customed. haha

Oh, how neat!! Isn't it such a thrill to add one of those to the conga? A lot of times they aren't too expensive, but you see them SO rarely it always comes as such a great surprise when you get your hands on a blank copy of a favorite! I have a couple of unpainted models (a fighting stallion, a Pegasus, a half-painted Sham, and a couple of Sms) and love them dearly. Now if I could just find a 5-Gaiter...

That is neat! Was he part of the set being sold at Breyerfest this year anyone?

It's cool seeing all those Gem Twists together! What is the dark grey one with the light face? Is that an OF or a custom?? Inquiring minds want to know!

That's the QVC SR, I forget what year but it came with show jumping tack and possibly a doll if I remember right. I have him somewhere! He's an odd rosey grey but I like him:)

Yup he's the QVC show jumper, the only custom I have is the black one. :)

*waves hi to my old dapple gray Gem* I love seeing him in your conga - what a great looking group! My original GT was my first-ever traditional Breyer and he is my eternal favorite - the grand old man of the barn.

Gem was my first traditional too! I think that's why I love him so much :) Your boy will always be well taken care of with me, I promise <3
