This second one is New in Box. His tack smells New and seems to have a coating on the chain and other metal parts that keeps it from tarnishing. My first JF has tarnished tack; he was out of his box on display and is a much different shade, quite a bit yellower. The new JF is snowy white...with really bad red marks from his trappings. sigh. He isn't perfect but he'll do. He has the normal stains from the saddle bags and one ear is broken on a toy, but I'm not really after the costume. Wonder how to clean the stains if it is even possible. Will go ask in the forums.

After the rexcitement of finishing the harness the other day I went back and re-did parts of it that I fudged on. I re-made the strap that holds the blinkers apart and re made the hip straps. When I'm in a hurry I will improvise a quick fix. Usually I'll go back later and fix it. I went to Hobby Lobby to pick up some jump rings and 1/8 inch brown leather lacing and found they had narrower black and brown lace in stock. Well, my brain is reeling with ideas for Breyerfest themes. I think I'm giving myself a headache. My girl is coming home on the 8th. I'm SO excited to get to know her and start training her. I'm getting my hair done today.. yep. I'm dying it, thinning it, layering it and having something done with my bangs. There will be a post somewhere in due time. I think that's all that is even relatively exciting in my life at the moment. I will post more later!
