Good greif I would suggest whoever has the FedEx account (is paying the bill) call their customer service and strongly express their displeasure over this issue. I've gone to the mat with their CS a number of times at their financial loss (ie discounted charges for their screw ups).
We've called, our book supplier has called, they swear that our library street address 'is not a valid address'. Well, it is, and nobody else has issues with it but FedEx! It's right in the middle of town for pete's sake. It's not like it's 10 miles down a dirt road or anything....
