I had some money on a Visa gift card, and I decided to pick up the Classic Reining Horse (on clearance) from Back in the Saddle. I got all the way through the online checkout and got a message that there was a problem with the card. (Nope, I know exactly how much is on it, and there's plenty for this model.) I read through and found a number to call. The customer service rep spoke very quietly and quickly, and it took me about twice as long as it should have to get her to figure out what I was trying to do. Finally, I get everything figured out (or so I thought), I give her my card number, I get a confirmation number and figure it's all good. NOPE. The card is declined again. So finally, she gets a supervisor, who informs me that they no longer take gift cards!!! I wasted a good half-hour with their customer service, only for them to tell me to basically forget it.

SO. Public service announcement: Don't try to order from Back in the Saddle if you're using a gift card.
